I am Rob Barnes, born 1944 in Driffield, East Yorkshire. I worked at Princes Plain Primary School, successor to Bromley Common National School, for over ten years before returning to East Yorkshire in 2003.  Earlier, I  worked at the Parish School, Bromley, the successor to the Bromley National School.

This site is an ongoing piece of work and I am always keen to correct any errors, answer any questions, or add to the material on show. I would also be pleased to hear from anyone else who has undertaken or is about to undertake a similar project.
